About Us
Meet The Owner
Our CEO, Janae White, is passionate about meeting the needs of the Hampton Roads community. She has worked in the mental health field for over 7 years, and is currently a Resident In Counseling in the state of Virginia.
Janae has a bachelors degree in psychology from the esteemed Hampton University. She also has two masters degrees in Organizational Leadership and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University.

Our CEO started this mental health agency with people like you in mind, with an understanding that although we are all unique, we are also human, and share some of the same experiences. Janae believes there is power in unity and relatability. These beliefs led to the creation of Just Like You. A space for individuals to grow together mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our individual therapy sessions are tailored to your specific needs, providing a confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. Our providers are committed to guiding you through your personal growth and healing journey.

Our marriage, family, and couples therapy sessions focus on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening the emotional/familial bond between partners and families. We provide a supportive space for couples and families to navigate challenges and cultivate a healthier relationship.

Mental Health Skill Building (MHSS) focuses on helping individuals significantly impaired by mental, behavioral, or emotional illness that results in significant functional impairments in major life activities. Our qualified mental health professionals provide skills training to individuals to help promote independent living.
